This work is inspired by the concept of scarcity – the scarcity of materials that led to the creation of patchwork as a technique, and the scarcity of sunlight during the lockdown.
I filmed all the sunspots in my home and gathered them into a video.
Through the editing, I "stitched" these pieces of sunlight into a unified patchwork composition, searching for a solar wholeness.
